We are presently seeking a talented Architect Intern. This is a remote position. It requires communicating with the design team and offshore team, and completing various types of interior projects – starting with design concepts followed by construction documents.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide programming, space planning and spatial layouts
- Create original design concepts, including finish materials, and presentation boards
- Work hand-in hand with structural and MEP engineers
- Develop construction drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork, details & specific schedules
- Coordinate with client and construction team
- Visit sites
- Ensure continuity and consistency of design deliverables, meet project schedules, budgets and deadlines
- Review and check all work for design, accuracy and completeness
- Manage and work effectively within a collaborative team environment on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Communication skills are very essential for this position
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of experience creating architectural construction drawings
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, standards and building codes
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
